Dancing Diggers at Pageant of Power
The amazing JCB Dancing Diggers will perform on both days of the Cholmondeley Pageant of Power, July 18-19. The team of five giant JCB diggers and a smaller “Bobcat” machine perform unfeasible and unlikely feats of synchronisation and agility. They have delighted live audiences all over Europe as well as performing numerous times on television.
“We are making huge strides with the Pageant this year,” said James Hall the Event Director. “We want to make sure that there really is something for all the family and in this spirit the Dancing Diggers should appeal across the board. The combined weight of the team is about 9 tonnes – without their drivers I must add – and the things they get up to are really quite extraordinary!”
This year’s Pageant centres around the well received “cars on the track, helicopters in the air and powerboats on the mere” formula from last year’s inaugural event. The helicopter attendance alone will make this the biggest gathering of these machines anywhere in the UK.
Sponsors include Bentley and Breitling and there will be a plethora of static events for visitors to look around.
