MAGNIFICENT MOTORCYCLES –
THE WORLD’S BEST WILL BE ON DISPLAY
Great motorcycles emanate from many parts of the globe and at The Cholmondeley Pageant of Power; you'll be able to see the world's best, including the inimatable marques from the marvellous age of British motorcycling.
This year will see a number of ex Isle of Man TT road racing stars such as Charlie Williams, Tommy Robb, Bill Smith, Ian Duffus, Sammy Miller and Brian Morrison amongst the competitors.
Machines entered include Barry Sheen's 1981 Yamaha OW53, Kenny Robert's 1980 Yamaha OW48R, Randy Mamola's 1989 Cagiva V589, a 1910 Singer, 1914 Triumph Model A, 1928 Scott Flying Squirrel, 1929 Norton Model 18, 1967 Norton Manx FB167, a 1968 Harley Davidson FL Electra Glide complete with sirens and lights, 1975 CB750, 2008 Yamaha TZ1 British Superstock racing bike, sidecar outfit and the awesome Triumph Rocket 3 not to mention a host of other historic and modern exotica.
There will be classic motorcycle demonstrations, trade stands and club displays, plus enthralling on-the-track action featuring parades, ride pasts and speed trials, where titan two wheelers will re-create the great motorbike events of yesteryear.
