Flying in...
The Cholmondeley Pageant of Power was Europes busiest private event for helicopters in 2009 with 68 private helicopters flying in and 240 aircraft movements over the weekend. Cholmondeley welcomes all helicopter pilots, owners and their passengers.
Anyone considering flying-in for 2010 should contact John Pattinson of Air Covers Ltd who coordinates the airside operations at the Pageant of Power. Fly-in instructions will be emailed to all those who have registered on the Aircovers website http://www.aircovers.com/
Information packs will include written instructions, maps, frequencies and the contact details for both Sleap and Hawarden Airfields.
There are no charges or landing fees for those arriving by helicopter; you are welcome guests of Cholmondeley.
With the generous support of our sponsors, Breitling, we are anticipating a busy airside schedule in 2010. This will include military role demonstrations, aerobatics and competitions. Helicopters flying in and out of the event will be asked to do so within generously allotted times at the beginning and end of the day. During the middle of the day will there be a no fly restriction while displays take place.
