We'll continue adding details of new attractions right up to the start of this year's Power and Speed event. Check here for the latest updates.
Now in its 9th year, we know what makes the Power and Speed event such a great weekend, but if you’ve never been before and are wondering what it’s all about, here are just some of the things that we think make it so special.
When it comes to staging the Power and Speed event, the grounds of the castle provide a beautiful contrast to the roar of engines, meaning relaxation away from the track is never too hard to find.
Enjoy the best of the Cheshire countryside, with a stroll around the beautifully landscaped gardens; the perfect tonic to the hectic activity taking place elsewhere. When the sun is shining, the expansive grounds of Cholmondeley Castle are a pure delight, and the perfect backdrop for relaxing with a cold glass (or two) of Pimms or a refreshing craft Ale.
From driving a mini tank to climbing high on our aerial ropes course, there’s plenty of fun to be had for kids. There’s even a family friendly funfair that the kids will love, and of course there’s two play parks to enjoy, complete with swings, wobbly bridges, climbing frames and more.
Did we mention that the grounds of Cholmondeley Castle are beautiful? The location makes for a stunning backdrop to all the frenetic activity taking place on the track and in the lake!
Set amidst open fields, woodland and landscaped gardens, spending time at Cholmondeley Castle is always a pleasure, with the secluded grounds providing a true escape away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, and should you want it, an escape from all the activity of the event.
Glamping has rapidly grown in popularity, and the Power and Speed event is the ideal time to try a spot of camping in style. Gone are the days of waking up cold and soggy on a partially deflated air bed; glamping is all about glamming it up and bringing some of the comforts of home with you!
Whether you’ve got a luxurious family sized bell tent or a simple 2-man pop up, camping at the Cholmondeley Power and Speed event is great fun, and the kids will love it.
Bag a track side camping pitch to watch the action from your tent, or if it’s relaxation you’re after, you can pitch yourself well away from the action for a more serene camping experience.
The action at Cholmondeley Power and Speed event isn’t confined to the track. You’ll see power boats taking to the lake and incredible acrobatic aerial displays too. From stunt planes to adrenaline packed thrills on the water, there’s plenty to satisfy your need for speed.
Remember, booking early means that you’ll pay the lowest possible ticket prices, so buy yours online now at our reduced rates.
