HAVE A GO AT WAKEBOARDING AT CHOLMONDELEY

Posted in News   |   March 23rd 2016

This year for the first time ever at Cholmondeley Power and Speed you will be able to get in the lake and try your hand at wakeboarding!

Wakeboarding is like snowboarding on water, or surfing in a flooded skate park. You stand sideways on a board and get towed by a boat or cable. At Cholomondeley Power and Speed Festival we will have a cable tow setup, which pulls the wakeboarders over the water. The lake will look like a floating skate park as we add in floating jumps and grind rails which the wakeboarders use to perform tricks.

The wakeboard sessions will be taking place on Friday, Saturday and Sunday in-between the competition heats.

All the kit is provided, including a wetsuit, buoyancy aid, wakeboard and helmet. You just need a towel and swim trunks!

It is really easy to learn to wakeboard using a cable tow like this. It is completely one on one coaching at all times, with fully qualified BWSW coaches.

To book on, come and see us at the start dock - first come, first served!
