Traffic Notice

Important information for traffic travelling from the North

Delays anticipated on A49 at Sandiway junction with the A556 owing to the British Superbike Meeting at Oulton Park

In consultation with the police, the following traffic advice is being announced:

• Traffic travelling South on the M6

Do not exit at junction 19 - continue South to junction 16 and follow the A500 (Nantwich) and A534 to pick up event signage.

• Traffic travelling West on the M56
  

Do not exit at junction 10 - continue West to Chester and then South on A41 to pick up event signage.

Generally, avoid travelling South on the A49 from the M56 to prevent delays around the Oulton Park area.

Similarly, after leaving Cholmondeley, avoid travelling North on the A49 and follow the above advice in reverse.
