CAR DEALERS POISED TO SUPERCHARGE SALES
AT 2013 PAGEANT OF POWER
On-track driving experiences and growing attendance offers dealers a unique opportunity to boost awareness, generate leads and take orders
Car brands signed up include Aston Martin, Bentley, Ford, Lamborghini, Porsche, BMW, Chevron, Citroen, Vauxhall and Honda, plus dealer groups Mana Premiere and Check Point Cars
The Cheshire-based Cholmondeley Pageant of Power (14-16 June; www.cpop.co.uk) is offering car dealers an unrivalled opportunity in 2013 to market and sell cars to potential customers from across the north of England and the Midlands. Last year exhibitors at the Pageant secured leads with a combined value of more than 5m and in 2013 the event is expected to be even more productive, thanks to an anticipated record crowd of more than 65,000.
Car manufacturers Aston Martin, Bentley, Ford and Honda are signed up as event sponsors, while other car and bike manufacturers including Lamborghini, Porsche, BMW, Vauxhall, Citroen and Chevron will be exhibiting throughout the weekend. Dealer groups already signed up to exhibit at the event include Mana Premiere Automobiles Limited (for Infiniti) and Check Point Cars (for Isuzu).
The Pageant organisers have confirmed the return of Magnificent Marques, which enables sponsors and exhibitors to offer test drives on the exciting 1.2-mile Cholmondeley track. Promotional display areas will also be on show for the full weekend, as well as hospitality units available for use adjacent to the track, giving sponsors the chance to engage fully with attendees.
One dealer that has previously taken full advantage of the Pageants promotional opportunities is Lexus Chester. As well as entering a Lexus LFA supercar into the competition, dealership representatives have entertained guests and prospective customers at the event.
The Pageant provides us with the perfect setting in which to spend time with customers, comments Mark Mitchell, Managing Director at Lexus Chester. Our guests loved seeing the LFA being driven at the limit throughout the weekend and it boosted the profile of the car and the dealership amongst the many thousands of visitors to the event. The Pageant is fast becoming the North Wests premier event, and we look forward to partnering with the team there for many years to come.
James Hall, Event Director for the Cholmondeley Pageant of Power, adds, Participating dealerships and manufacturers have always reported that the Pageant offers a brilliant opportunity to promote and sell vehicles to customers from across the region. In particular, the Magnificent Marques element is incredibly valuable for engaging in a new way with customers and prospects. Many report sales and good leads off the back of the event that otherwise would not have been secured with conventional marketing and promotional activity.
