Ever fancied yourself in the seat of an Aston Martin, Ferrari or Porsche? Well the Sporting Bears area on Lodge Corner offer you the chance to experience a thrilling ride in some of the world’s most renowned supercars past and present with our team of committed volunteers. The owners will take you for a 20 minute passenger ride of your dreams in the car of your choice, for a charitable donation that every penny goes to Charity and see what people thought in 2010.

Star Cars

Last year celebrity chef James Martin took his Ferrari 275 GTB to the track at the Pageant and Sporting Bears are offering Dream Rides in our members 275GTB Alloy on Saturday, 1 of only 6 RHDs made by Enzo and valued at auction at £1million. Now we can’t vouch for his cooking ability but he can certainly tell you all about this rarity as you listen to the 1967 V12 breathing in on the Cheshire roads knowing here, the car is the Star!

Sunday will see the historic 1932 Bentley 8litre LeMans join us to take you out as the Bentley Boys did in the classic era, sitting high up behind the huge bonnet and listen above the 8litre for the squeaky horn! This car is still rallied across Europe today so ask the owner about his latest adventures.

We are thrilled about the 3rd annual return of the Jaguar XJ220 to offer Dream Rides at the Pageant, these beautiful machines give you the chance to sit in a true great British Supercar and let’s not forget the return of the popping and crackling Porsche 911 Rally car – but don’t touch any buttons!

Sporting Bears Motor Club established the "Bears", as we are affectionately known, in 1989 as a dedicated group of classic car and sports car enthusiasts with one primary aim - to raise money for children's charities through our own social and touring events, and to support other charitable events. Since the Club was formed in 1989 we have been very active and have raised in excess £800,000 for Children's Charities in the UK.
We are proud to be supporting The Wingate Special Children’s Trust based outside Nantwich who provide gymnastic and trampoline training for recreation and competition to all ages and levels of disability and ability with Educational, Residential and Holiday facilities. Every penny donated to the Dream Rides over the weekend will go directly to the centre and help fund the Wish List.

Sporting Bears members give their time, fuel, wear and tear on their cherished vehicles free of charge. 100% of all donation monies collected for rides (required donation amounts vary depending upon which car you choose/availability etc) go direct to the Wingate Centre charity.
