The Cholmondeley Pageant of Power will again be celebrating the amazing world of rotary flight.
There are more than 1500 private and corporate helicopters flying in the UK. These range from the 2 seater piston-engine Robinson to the EC155, Eurocopter's VVIP helicopter.

Historic. At the Cholmondeley Pageant of Power spectators will be able to see classic and modern aircraft including the eponymous MASH bubble cabin helicopter, the military Gazelle, the meccano-tailed Alouette, the very first British Army helicopter, the Skeeter made from canvas and wood and other vintage helicopters from the armys Historical Flight Wing.
Tri-Services Competition - nearby RAF Shawbury is home to the Defence Helicopter Flying School where Fleet Air Arm, RAF and Army pilots are trained. Over both days Cholmondeley will be host to a Tri-Services helicopter flying agility competition. This is the first time this prestigious event has been held and the competition will be fierce.
Displays. Listed below are the confirmed displays. There will be several flying displays on both days and this list will be updated as formal commitments are given.
The RAF Falcons Parachute Display Team will be putting on their world famous exhibition in front of Sunday's crowds, jumping from a C130 Hercules before Lord Cholmondeley takes the salute trackside as the aircraft executes a flypast low over the Castle and grounds.
Private, corporate and military helipcopters will be flying in over the weekend and we hope that, depending on commitments, the Air Ambulance and Police helicopters will join the spectacle.
