The Ferrari 212 F1 was a sports racing car produced by Ferrari in 1951 to replace the 195 S. It had a shorter wheelbase than the road-oriented Ferrari 212 Intermodel, which was a Grand tourer.
R4D is the last development of the classic ERA design. First built as a 2 litre B-type in 1935, the works modified the car into a C-type, and finally a D-type, in which form it first competed in 1938. At one time it held virtually every hill climb and sprint record in the UK, and continued competing successfully well into the 1950's in the hands of drivers such as Ron Flockhart and Ken Wharton. R4D has covered the standing start 1/4 mile in 12.33 seconds, and has a top speed of over 160mph
The BAC Mono is the second fastest car ever on the TopGear power lap. A former winner of the Pageant of Power, Mono has won numerous awards since it was launched including 'Stig's Car of the Year'. Mono boasts a power to weight ratio in excess of 500bhp per tonne and a top speed of 170mph. It can achieve 0-60 in 2.8 seconds.
This 1974 Cologne Capri, Cosworth GAA 510BHP at 9000RPM. It has a ZF 5 Speed Dog Leg Gearbox. This car raced at Silverstone Classic and won the Gold Cup, with its unrestricted exhaust it is very loud! It weighs 1150KG and has a top speed of 175mph.
The Lotus 23 was Colin Chapman's first and only mid-engined small capacity sports racing car. Based closely on the type 22 Formula junior the 23 went on to dominate it's class in both National and International racing.
This 2005 Force PC was built in 2005 for Peter Radnall, it has the latest works aero and chassis developments. It scored best time of day at Shelsley Walsh, Prescott and Barbon hillclimbs and Snetterton, Blyton Park, Crystal Palace, Thoresby Park and Curborough sprints in 2014. This car is also the current class record holder at 5 print or hillclimb venues.
It is a '2 speeder' model, where the rear wheel is driven by two chains and there is no reverse gear. These Morgan 3 wheelers were very popular with the sporting motorist during the 1920's and 1930's. With a big V twin engine producing vivid performance, similar to that of a large motorcycle.

The Maserati Tipo 26 was a model of Grand Prix race car and was the first car built by Italian manufacturer Maserati, for a total of 11 units, between 1926 and 1932.
The Tipo 26 originated from a Grand Prix car that Alfieri Maserati had designed for Diatto: when the collaboration between Maserati and Diatto ended, Alfieri took his design to the Bologna workshop that he had set up with his brothers in 1914.
The design of the Tipo 26 consisted of a steel ladder-type frame supporting a supercharged inline-8 engine with a three-speed manual transmission and an aluminum two-seater bodywork made by Medardo Fantuzzi.
Jayne Kay (21) is the driver of the 2000bhp Model-T Fuel Altered, sponsored by Wheel Whores. The car will reach speeds of up to 230+mph in around 6.5 seconds. Jayne is currently working on a step up into the to top league of Drag Racing, to race a 300mph Top Fuel Funny Car.
Alan Fraser Racing bought this car new in 1969 for Keith Holland to drive in the 1969 season. They finished 5th in the guards F5000 Championship that year and even were the overall winner of the Spanish Grand Prix at James. In 2001 the resoration of this car was documented in Channel 4's "Salvage Squad". In 2002 it was purchased by the present owner who had the car completely dismantled and properly race-prepared by a professional race-specialist. It is in excellent condition and race-ready.
This car is one of only 9 post war racing carsbuilt by Geoffrey Taylor of Alta Cars. This Alta was intended to be the 4th Formula 1 Alta ("GP4"). It has unique rubber block suspension designed by Alta, it now has a 2 seater Sports-Racing bodywork and a 3.4 litre Jaguar C Type engine. Building of the car was started in 1948 its early history after it left the factory is still uncertain however, it seems that it had a period racing in Ireland in the 1950's and 1960's although efforts to trace its earlier history are still on-going.
